Will Tim Tebow give up signal calling on the gridiron for acting on the big screen?
Well, one independent film producer hopes so.
The entertainment whistleblowers at TMZ acquired a letter sent to Tebow by David Dginguerian, asking the outright devout quarterback to star in his next film.
"You have been a great idol for so many by your display of courage and strong faith that all things work together for those who love God and are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)," Dginguerian wrote in the letter.
"That was the theme of our latest film CrossroadMovie.com which is now licensed in Brazil, Africa, Europe, Australia and more. It is touching so many hearts and changing lives around the world."
And acting may actually be a suitable alternative for Tebow If things don't pan out for him in the NFL---which may be a likely outcome considering the starting quarterback job in New York is getting tight and no other team seems to want to make a deal for the reverent footballer.
But Dginguerian definitely sees promise for Tebow's potential acting career.
"You are an inspiration to so many on the field and off, and I am certain that your passion will also come through in films," he said in the letter.
It is still unknown what a Tebow starring role would cost and TMZ has not been able to reach the quarterback's representatives for a comment.
