Will Jose Mourinho remain in Real Madrid? After a tumultuous season, the likelihood of the Portuguese boss remaining at the Santiago Bernabeu is minimal. The major question should be: Where is Mourinho headed next?

Many have speculated that Manchester United is a likely destination, but "The Special One" himself has provided hints of where he could ultimately land.

"Everyone knows I have an adventurous spirit," Mourinho said according to The Sun newspaper. "It's not easy for my family. We'll see what happens. After England, Portugal, Italy and Spain, it's not easy to find a new destination."

"It could be a destination where I have coached before. There are things that may be about to happen no one could imagine."

According to ESPN, Mourinho has stated that after Spain he could head back to England. If this follows with his latest comment, then Mourinho could be hinting at a return to Chelsea, where he coached from 2004-07. The likelihood of his returns increases when one considers that current Blues' boss Rafa Benitez has already confirmed that he will not return to Stamford Bridge beyond this season.

While Mourinho was the manager of Chelsea, he compiled 85 wins in 120 premier league matches including league championships in 2004-05 and 2005-06. He also won the FA Cup in 2006-07 with the club. He also earned the Premier League Manager of the Year award in each season.

Real Madrid is currently in second place in the Spanish League and will compete in the Spanish Cup Final. The team will also battle Galatasaray in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League.
