BioShock Infinite will officially be launching on yet another platform. Aspyr Media has announced that the upcoming game will soon be available on Macs.

It won't be a simultaneous launch, as the Mac version will be landing sometime this summer as opposed to the March 26th release date for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

Aspyr Media has announced that a release date as well as pre-order details are coming "coming soon." The studio was previously responsible for the Mac ports of other 2K games including Civilization V and Borderlands 2.

The game is set in 1912 and follows former Pinkerton agent Booker DeWitt, who is sent to the flying city of Columbia to track down a young woman who has been held captive there for over a decade. It is still unclear what connection, if any, this game has to the previous two BioShock titles.

It was developed by Irrational Games and 2K Marin, and published by 2K Games. Ken Levine, the director of the original BioShock, is also serving as the lead developer on this installment.

The game is currently available for pre-order from various retailers, as well as Steam on the PC side. If you'd like another look at the game, check out the latest trailer below.
