The Miami Heat crushed the Thunder 121-106 in Game 5 on Thursday night and finally clinched the 2012 NBA Championship.

LeBron James' performance was once again spectacular(26 points, 11 rebounds) although this time he was seen distributing the ball (13 assists) more than usual giving his teammates opportunities to shoot, and boy did they shoot well.

Mike Miller is one example of how the Miami Heat capitalized on James' distribution of the ball. Miller was on fire tonight scoring 21 points just on three pointers and ended the game with 23 points.

LeBron James finally gets to lift the apprized Larry O'Brien Trophy after a drought of 9 long years and now his ticket to the NBA Hall of Fame is arguably secured.

James, today, is considered the world's best player basketball player and just needed a title to prove so. As he clinched the NBA Championship, the part of him that eagerly sought to put "The Decision" to closure must've finally been put to rest. He can now continue in life knowing he made the right decision for himself.

James had a 'Jordanesque' performance in Game 5 included a triple double. Before the clock ticked its last seconds, James was seen waving his arms, absorbed by great joy, smiling and congratulating his teammates.

Now after finally earning his first ring, LeBron can be included to a new group, the championship winning elite-group.

After, 9 long years, the following stats are finally worth comparing since LeBron is part of that group and does not lack a key piece anymore, the championship. Thus, his earning of a trophy prompts the comparison with one of the key players in the group: Michael Jordan.

How does James fare against 'His Airness' at this point in his maturing career?
