Deep Silver is hoping to make the collector's edition of Saints Row 4 extra memorable, and the team is turning to the fans for a little help.

The publisher has put together a public survey asking gamers for their input on what would make a collector's edition worth purchasing. Survey participants are asked to rate their interest on a scale from "HELL NO!" to "AWWWW YEAH!" for items such as a "Department of Homeland Saintcurity" shirt, an auto tune device, a briefcase, a wooden cigar box, in-game weapon replica, and even a "Dubstep Doomsday Button."

The survey also asks what platforms the player would be purchasing this game on, how many collector's editions for other games they purchased last year, and if they primarily play Saints Row titles by themselves or in co-op mode.

Saints Row 4 will release on August 20 in North America for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. It is currently being developed by Volition Inc. and will be published by Deep Silver.

Deep Silver acquired the franchise from THQ during the latter's bankruptcy auction in January. The reported price for the series was $22.3 million.

Saints Row is an open world action game series with an emphasis on criminal activity. It is similar in some ways to the Grand Theft Auto series, but is known for its comedic and often outlandish sensibilities. The last entry in the franchise, Saints Row: The Third, was released in 2011, and was the final game in the series to be published by THQ.
