Samsung's Galaxy Note 2 is getting the Android Jelly Bean update courtesy of T-Mobile.

The Android update comes almost a week after U.S. Cellular announced it will roll out the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for their Galaxy Note 2, as well as for the Galaxy S3 smartphone.

As for the T-Mobile update, according to SamMobile, the 5.5-inch Samsung device with Super AMOLED HD Display will include the following after installing Android 4.1.2.

- New Additions in notification Toggles

- Notification Panel can now be customized

- Brightness Slider in Notification Panel Can Now Be Disabled

- Multi-View Can now be disabled

- Browser Is Smoother Then Before

- Status Bar has been changed from Grey to Black

- Continues Input in Samsung Keyboard (Like Swipe or Android 4.2 Keyboard)

- New Ink Effect On Lockscreen

- New Group Cast Application

In addition, the Galaxy Note 2 update will also enable the device to work on T-Mobile's LTE network.

As Latinos Post reported, T-Mobile has plans to cover 100 million customers with 4G LTE coverage by mid-2013 and 200 million by the end of the year. To help T-Mobile accomplish such projections, they're enabling LTE on the BlackBerry Z10 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.

The update to the Jelly Bean comes as T-Mobile confirmed it will be among the U.S. carriers to sell the upcoming Samsung smartphone Galaxy S4. The successor of the Galaxy S3 made its debut in an event in New York City on March 14. It also features a 5-inch screen 1,920x1,080 with 441 pixels per inch, a 2,600mAh battery capacity, rear-facing 13-megapixel camera, and Android 4.2.2.
