DICE has announced that the first full Battlefield 4 trailer will be released on March 27. The announcement has come right on the heels of EA's confirmation that the game would be revealed at this month's Game Developer Conference on March 26.
The Tweet includes a clip from the trailer itself, which appears to depict tank treads among other things.
The official Battlefield 4 unveiling will take place a day earlier at an unnamed movie theater in San Francisco. One could assume that the trailer will be shown to select members of the press there, before being released online on the 27th.
EA Labels President Frank Gibeau has already revealed that the game was already far enough along in production to have been demoed for retailers:
"We've been investing and innovating on new technology for months. Console partners who have seen our early work agree, EA's next-gen software is nothing short of astonishing. At a GameStop company meeting earlier this week, we gave 500 store managers a sneak peak [sic] at Battlefield 4," said Gibeau. "The game received a huge ovation and thousands of fans reacted to a single enthusiastic Tweet by GameStop's CEO."
Currently, not much is known about the game aside from it is being developed by DICE, and will use the modern setting of its predecessor, Battlefield 3. The game will be released in 2014 for unspecified current and next-gen platforms.
