Updates are on their way for Nokia's Lumia 920, Lumia 820, and Lumia 620 smartphone devices.
The three Windows Phone 8 smartphones will soon have an update but the worldwide rollout will not happen simultaneously, Nokia confirmed.
According to Nokia, as part of the carrier's continuous development practice, the updates for the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 will be under the software version 1232.5957.1308.00xx. The Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 update will include performance and stability improvements, display stability enhancements during phone calls, and improvements to automatic adjustments on display brightness.
The Lumia 620 is under a different software version, known as 1030.6407.1308.00xx. The update for the Lumia 620 Windows Phone 8 smartphone will include enhancements in touch behavior and improvements to the system's stability.
The camera capabilities for the Lumia 620 will also see improvements in terms of the picture quality. These enhancements include corrected camera exposure when using flash in bright-lit environments.
"We are starting to deliver the latest software on new Lumia 920, Lumia 820 and Lumia 620 smartphones now," wrote Nokia's Fred Patton. "Current users of these smartphones will be receiving the updates to their phones later."
Nokia smartphone users are recommended to visit the Nokia support page on how to receive and install an update on their devices.
The Finnish-based company does say that the availability and timing of the updates is dependent on the region and further recommends Lumia 920, Lumia 820, and Lumia 620 owners to contact their local Nokia Care team for more information.
