After months of anticipation, the Samsung Galaxy S3 has finally launched.

The phone will be available with AT&T and Sprint, but the most interesting development is T-Mobile's recently set price on their website.

According to Cnet.com, T-Mobile is charging customers $279.99 for the 16 GB model of the smartphone. That price already includes a $50 rebate for customers. The 32 GB version is selling for $329.99 after the rebate. Both prices include standard two-year contracts.

AT&T has not released the phone yet, but is receiving pre-orders while Sprint is supposed to be selling the phone today, but has indicated that both the 16 GB and 32 GB models are out of stock on its website. AT&T is offering the 16 GB version for $199.99. Sprint is offering the same price for the 16 GB but is also asking for $249.99 for the 32 GB version.

Verizon will be latest to the party as their versions are not set for release until July 10. They are pricing the 16GB version at $199.99 and the 32 GB flavor for $249.99.

T-Mobile has not mentioned being out of stock on the product, and it is possible that the increased price may be the result of the company taking advantage of the demand and lack of supply from its competitors.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 packs a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD display and has 16/32GB of internal storage and with a microSD card can support up to 64GB. Samsung will also be launching a 64GB variant of Galaxy S3 later this year. The Galaxy S3 also runs on Android 4.0 and will include software features like S Voice, Pop-up Play, Smart Eye tracking, Burst shoot camera mode and S Beam. It has 8-megapixel camera at the back that can record fullHD 1080p videos.

The phone was recently bashed by FoxConn CEO Terry Gou who stated that the iPhone 5 would put it to shame. Apple and Samsung has been in fierce competition recently with Apple attempting to ban the Galaxy S3 from US release. A judge however, decided not to include the product in the case and the phone will be able to launch as expected.
