A snapshot is floating around the Internet, and what makes it unique is it is speculated to be taken with the upcoming Nokia Lumia 928.
With the Lumia 920 serving as the flagship smartphone for Nokia, but being exclusive for U.S. carrier AT&T, Verizon Wireless is looking for the next Nokia smartphone.
The Lumia 920 is reportedly a Lumia 920-esque smartphone coming for Verizon Wireless and a tweet might have provided the quality of the upcoming smartphone.
Twitter user evleaks tweeted on March 13 that it was allegedly taken by a Microsoft employee. The picture features a mug from the Black Raven Brewing Co., stating, "Nokia Lumia 928 test photo..."
The GPS data detailed the picture was taken in the town of Redmond, home of Microsoft and at the Malt and Wine Bar.
Full EXIF data was provided, courtesy of WMPowerUser, the photo appears to have a pixel resolution of 720x1,278 and originally taken in Feb. 12 at 9:33:33 a.m. With the software maintaining Windows Phone, the exposure is listed at 1/20 sec with an aperture of 2.0. EXIF data can be manipulated though, so the validity cannot be 100 percent kosher.
The "leaked" picture comes as the Lumia 928 went through the Federal Communications Commission's testing. The Nokia smartphone has been speculated to join the Verizon carrier due to having the same Long Term Evolution (LTE) bands, 4 and 13, which matches Verizon's network.
With an April release rumored, the Lumia 928 will be lighter and thinner compared to the 4.5-inch screen Lumia 920. The upcoming Lumia 928 is reported to be 10.2 mm thin with a slightly curved spine. In another cosmetic news, the Lumia 928 will bare a similar square look to the Lumia 720.
