Tottenham Hotspur has had a tremendous season. The team is in line to finish in the top four in the premier league and could come away with the Europa League title.
The team defeated Internazionale last week by the score of 3-0 but manager Andre Villas-Boas has stated that he will field his best squad for the match. "There is no score line that could make us change six or seven players. We will play a strong team to make sure we go through in this competition. We take this game very seriously," said Villas-Boas. "I will not rest anyone, it is an important game for us and I will not take anything for granted. The result from the first leg is not enough."
"Hopefully if we can manage to overcome Inter we can put ourselves in a strong position, although we admit there are still some very strong teams in the mix," he added.
Villas-Boas did concede that losing superstar Gareth Bale will hurt the team. The Welshman was suspended for the booking he incurred last week. "We will miss him but we won't want to prove anything without him because we believe a lot in ourselves," Villas-Boas said.
Inter Milan is four points out a champions league spot next season and desperately needs to make the most of its run this year. "We want to do well and honor [the Europa League], but we know our situation and our numbers are limited," Inter's manager Andrea Stramaccioni stated. "Football is strange. Three-nil is difficult to overturn, but we'll be taking to the field to win."
Predictions: Tottenham wins 2-0.
