Promising to be one of the better matchup today, St.John's tackles Notre Dame in South Bend.

St.John's G D'Angelo Harrison averages 17.8 points a game, but the team as a whole ranks towards the bottom of the country in points a game. In fact, the squad only cracks the top 100 in one statistical category this year, but they're winning games at (16-12 and 8-8 Big East).

No.24 ranked Notre Dame (22-7, 10-6 Big East) haven't fair so well in the conference, barely ahead of tonight's foe.

The Irish are coming off a disappointing loss to Marquette. Leading scorer Jack Cooley wasn't 100% for the game and it showed, some players even commented after the game.

"That's our horse inside," point guard Erik Atkins said. "Today, he wasn't there for us so it made it a little different."

Coach Brey sat Cooley in the second half to get him ready for tonight's game, so he should be ready to go, even if he's not, I don't see it being an insurmountable loss.

The Red Storm pose as a much easier opponent as they've dropped four of their last five. Perhaps the biggest reason for the skid is their lackluster percentage from the three-point lie being a dismal28.9%. And yet, they continue to shoot them.

This second meeting likely to go the way the first one went. Harrison may have a better showing, but even if he matches his season average, I don't foresee it being enough to frighten the Irish.

If luck is going to side with anyone St.John's needs it to be them.

Prediction: I actually think St.John's jumps out early on the Irish and keep it tight at the half, but when their stroke is needed most it'll go into witness protection and the Irish will start to beat them at the fundamentals. Expect a double-digit victory for the Fighting Irish
