Teen heartthrob Justin Bieber apologized to upset and disappointed fans after he reportedly started his Believe Tour concert in London  two hours late on Monday night.

Many of the audience members, which largely consists of young girls and their parents, were forced to go home and miss the show before the "Beauty and the Beat" singer even hit the stage. They complained that he was supposed to start at 8:30 p.m. and that he didn't appear until 10:30 p.m.

During his performance, Bieber failed to acknowledge his lateness or apologize. However, the next day, he tweeted out his regrets blaming "technical issues" as the cause for his tardiness and stating that he was only 40 minutes late.

"last night i was scheduled after 3 opening acts to go on stage at 9:35 not 8:30 but because of some technical issues i got on at 10:10," tweeted the singer to his 35 million plus followers. "i was 40 min late to stage. there is no excuse for that and I apologize for anyone we upset. However it was great show and Im proud of that," he continued.

He also promised that his show tonight will start on time. "tonight we will run on time and look forward to putting on an amazing show for everyone in attendance," he posted.

Regardless of the time that the Biebs actually started performing, many in the audience were forced to either leave early or miss the last trains home.

"There were teenage girls crying outside," said Louise Cooper, a financial analyst who brought her 9-year-old daughter to the show as a birthday present according to Fox News.

"The ladies sitting with us had to leave after 20 minutes and they had spent 70 quid (about $106) each on a ticket, which is really bad. It's one thing if your demographic is 50-year-olds, but his demographic is lots of little girls who need to go home and go to bed," she added

The venue also apologized on its Twitter feed.
