On Tuesday, pop singer Rihanna filed a temporary restraining order against an obsessive fan and possible stalker at a Los Angeles Superior Court.
The fan, who was identified as Steveland Barrow, was arrested last Thursday for mistakenly breaking into her neighbor's house thinking that it belong to her. He was ordered to stay 100 yards away from the 25-year-old singer and her property, according to TMZ.
Barrow argued that he had been invited into the Unapologetic singer's home. According to court documents, he "removed various items from the home and slept in a bed thinking it was Ms. Fenty's [Rihanna]" and stole property from the neighbor's house.
Rihanna says Barrow has caused her to fear for her safety because, as the filing states, Barrow "will go to great lengths to come into contact with [Rihanna] and has no regard for her privacy."
The next hearing is on March 21 and will decide whether to make the restraining order permanent.
The Rihanna crazed fan has not only been released from custody but is nowhere to be found.
This is not the only fan-related scare the Diamonds singer has endured within the last month.
On February 17, Rihanna was leaving a nightclub when a heckler threw a bottle at her and bloodied her knee. According to an eye witness, the man was upset because that Ri Ri is back with Chris Brown, her on-again-off-again boyfriend who infamously hospitalized her during a domestic dispute in 2009.
The incident occurred around 3 a.m. as the "Stay" singer was leaving London's Box Nightclub with her best friend Melissa Forde and British model Cara Delevingne.
