Defender champion Corinthians takes on Colombian squad Millionarios in the second group match of the Copa Libertadores.

The Corinthians won the tournament a year ago over Boca Juniors, but face a tough road to recapture their prize. In their opening match, the team drew 1-1 with Bolivian squad San Jose. Paolo Guerrero scored six minutes into the contest for the defending champions, but Carlos Saucedo leveled the score in the 61st minute.

They will take on a Colombian side that lost its opening match to Mexican side Tijuana; Richard Ruiz scored the lone goal in that game in the 62nd minute for Tijuana.

Despite the poor start, the Colombian side seems positive about its chances against the Brazilian champs.

"We know it won't be easy against Corinthians. We know the conditions of the team, the players they have and we are heading into the conviction that we can pull off a positive result," said Millionarios' Wason Rentería.

Winger Rafael Robayo added, "As long as we do not lose, it will be a positive result. We want to think about winning, but we know it isn't easy, but as long as we don't return empty handed we will be satisfied.

Prediction: Only a win will do for the Corinthians. A draw or loss puts them in a precarious situation moving forward with only four matches left to play. More importantly, they are home and have a major advantage - 2-1 Corinthians.
