Vanessa Hudgens, the former Disney actress and star of the new film "Spring Breakers," recently opened up about her leaked nude photos calling that "the worst moment of my career." In an interview with PaperMag.com, the "High School Musical" actress described the nude pictures as just a really "s***ty situation" when they emerged on the Internet in 2007. "That was just a really shitty situation that sucked," said the 24-year-old. "That was by far the worst moment of my career."
According to "Paper," the leaked photos may not have been as tragic as Hudgens thought since it proved to the world that she was no longer a squeaky clean "Disney star". "But perhaps those photos were a blessing in disguise, signaling to the world that she was not just the one-dimensional squeaky-clean face on the HSM collectible lunch boxes," writes Paper. She was a typical 18-year-old girl with a camera phone and a sexual appetite. Hudgens manned up and took responsibility for the pictures, apologizing to her fans. (Disney stood by her throughout the ordeal, simply admonishing the actress with an afterschool special-worthy message: "We hope she's learned a valuable lesson.")"
Nonetheless, Hudgens bounced back from the scandal and is gearing up for the premiere of "Spring Breakers," an R-rated movie about four college students who get mixed up with a drug dealer while on spring break. It also stars James Franco, Selena Gomez and Ashley Benson.
In the film, Hudgens went as far as snorting crushed Vitamin B in a scene where she is shown using cocaine.
