Kendall Jenner just got a huge tattoo across her back--but just in Sharpie, probably to the relief of her mom.
The oldest Jenner sister tweeted Tuesday, "Thank you @natwood_xo for the amazing sharpie tat! I loveeeee you're amaz!" along with an Instagram photo of the (temporary) tattoo, an impressively detailed drawing of a skull wearing a feathered headdress.

Nat Wood, the L.A.-based artist who gave Jenner the tattoo, describes herself on her website as a "young, professional make-up artist on the rise." She has done makeup for various fashion photo shoots, TV shows, and she also specializes in special-effects makeup.
She also tweeted a photo of Jenner's new "tattoo," tweeting, "Sharpie tatt for KJ! Love you girl. #badwood."
The faux tattoo provoked mixed reactions on Instagram. Some fans loved it ("Wooow perfect," said one follower) but many others did not approve.

"Please don't do that to yourself, you're [too] pretty!" said one user. Another simply commented, "Ruined!!!" And another user mused, "I wonder what Bruce thought after she almost got a real tattoo on her own..."
Jenner, 17, has a year to go before she could legally get a real tattoo.
