What do you get when you mix a beauty queen, a basketball legend, a pool and a Darth Vader mask together?
One heck of a way to promote a new show.
Miss Alabama Katherine Webb tweeted out a picture this week alongside NBA Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who was wearing the iconic Darth Vader mask from the "Star Wars" movie franchise and a purple robe reading in bold letters the word "SPLASH" on the back.
The picture became a hit on Twitter with fans.
Webb and Abdul-Jabbar, who were hanging out poolside, will be part of a new reality show called "Splash," formerly known as "Celebrity Diving" that will premiere in March.
According to TMZ, Webb, who rose to prominence when she was spotted by ESPN's Brent Musburger during the nationally televised BCS college football championship game, will be starring alongside Abdul-Jabbar, NFL star Ndamukong Suh, Baywatch actress Nicole Eggert and Keshia Knight-Pulliam, a former actor from "The Cosby Show."
Olympic diving champions Greg Louganis and David Boudia will be judges on the show, which debuts March 19.
This has been a big year so far for Webb, not only gaining major recognition after the BCS game, but also being invited to be in Sports Illustrated's 2013 Swimsuit Edition, which was released last week, featuring Webb and Kate Upton.
