A week after Microsoft started to sell the 128GB Surface Pro Tablet with Windows 8, which sold out the same day, the company has reportedly restocked and accepting orders.
As Latinos Post reported, the 128GB tablet of the Surface Pro sold out within the same day as its release last Saturday, which led to criticism and speculation on how Microsoft is handling the launch.
"We're working with our retail partners who are currently out of stock of the 128GB Surface Pro to replenish supplies as quickly as possible. Our priority is to ensure that every customer gets their new Surface Pro as soon as possible," stated Microsoft Surface General Manager Panos Panay in a blog post posted on the same day as its release date.
The news then came that Saturday - today - Microsoft will restock the 128GB Surface Pro tablet.
As seen on the Microsoft Surface Pro site, the 128GB Surface Pro is available for people to order. However, the 128GB tablet will be shipped starting March 1, about two weeks from today.
The other variant of the Surface Pro tablet with 64GB is available for purchase without shipping delays.
The Microsoft Surface with Windows 8 Pro is priced at $899 for the 64GB model and $999 for the 128GB model.
