Samsung firmly established itself as a legitimate threat to Apple and as one of the world's most popular smartphone makers in 2012, making everybody excited about Samsung will bring to the table in 2013. The Korean electronics manufacturer's upcoming flagship device, the Galaxy S4, already has the rumor mills churning, and this time it looks like a spec sheet could have leaked.

The folks over at Android.Caotic.It managed to get their hands on a Korean document which looks like it's got the Galaxy S4's specs listed out. According to their source document, the Galaxy S4 will run on an Exynos 5440 quad-core processor, have 2GB RAM, run Android 4.2, and have a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1920X1080. The specs pretty much line up with what we've heard so far, although different processors have been thrown around in the past.  A previous rumor stated that Samsung might use a 1.9GHz Qualcomm processor, and many thought that Samsung might even outfit the Galaxy S4 with its beefy Exynos 5 Octa eight-core chipset.

Samsung, of course, has not commented on the rumors, and be sure to treat them with a healthy peppering of salt. It won't be too long,  however, until we get the official nitty gritty from Samsung - the company is expected to hold a Samsung Mobile Unpacked event in the middle of March where it will announce the Galaxy S4.

Many believe the Galaxy S4 will then begin shipping out to certain markets in April (although the same report that leaked the specs discussed above does state that a March release is possible as well), and eventually make it over to the United States by May or June. Pricing details are unknown at this point, although it shouldn't be too much of a deviation from previous flagship price points from Samsung.

But that's not all. It might exactly be the Galaxy S4, or even a smartphone, but the Samsung Galaxy Altius is Samsung's rumored smartwatch that is part of the same "Project J" family the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 Mini stem from. Slashgear managed to dig up some pictures from a Korean forum that seem like they could be the first images of the Altius, although nothing has been confirmed as of yet, and the source is a bit shaky. Still, if it is true, then Samsung's smartwatch could be sporting a 500X500 resolution. The interface seems to be something other than Android, but as with all early "developments," we'll simply have to sit on this until Samsung decides to indulge us.
