The Euro 2012 is in its fifth day since it began last Friday, June 8, and during this second round, matches with the potential to become thrillers and real entertainers abound.

During the first round, fans were left with an oral sour taste since their expectations for Cristiano Ronaldo scoring some goals were not met as Portugal lost 1-0 against Germany.

Although there is still plenty of time to watch Ronaldo score goals, let's just hope that Portugal exhibits a play worthy of the talent they possess.

Fans are also looking forward to Spain who drew against Italy in the first found. 'La Furia Roja' hasn't yet displayed what they are capable of and will have to win the next match in order to avoid seriously complicating their chances to advance.

Both teams are on the list for the most promising matches of the week which are:

Denmark vs. Portugal (Group B): 12 p.m. ET on ESPN - Wednesday, June 13

Portugal and Cristiano Ronaldo should be giving it all they can during a game in which they are pressured to win, or go home. Denmark on the other hand is playing strong defense. During their opener against Netherlands, they came up with very interesting plays and opened up good opportunities to score a second.

Prediction: Portugal wins 1-0

Netherlands vs. Germany (Group B): 2:45 p.m. ET on ESPN - Wednesday, June 13

It will be win or go home for the 'Clockwork Orange' who lost their first-round game against Denmark. Things for Holland however aren't looking that easy since they will be facing the Germans who are pumped up after their first victory against Cristiano Ronald's Portugal.

Prediction: Draw

Spain vs. Ireland (Group C): 2:45 p.m. ET on ESPN2 - Thursday, June 14

Watching Spain play is always exciting. Their fast-paced and dynamic play is the trait of the world's premier soccer league. The match could end up with the Spanish scoring a rain of goals against a Rep. of Ireland that performed weakly in a 3-1 loss against Croatia.

Prediction: Spain wins 3-0
