The Dallas Stars will look to extend their winning streak to five when they take a struggling Calgary Flames team on Wednesday night.

The Stars have defeated the Colorado Avalanche, Anaheim Ducks and Edmonton Oilers two times in their four game streak. In their latest win, the Stars took down the Oilers 4-1 thanks to perseverance and solid goaltending. Goalie Kari Lehtonen made 35 saves in the effort and was content with his team's effort. "We are just trying to play hard right now," Lehtonen said. "We know we are not the most skilled team out there with the biggest names. We are a hard working club and everybody in this room feels we have a chance to win on any given night as long as we push ourselves. We have done well the last few games here and hopefully we can keep it going."

Winger Jamie Benn has scored eight points during the winning streak, including four goals and four assists.

The Calgary Flames have not played well in their last two games. Bob Hartley's squad won two of its first three in February but has dropped two straight, including a 2-1 shootout loss to the Minnesota Wild. In that game, Blair Jones missed in the shootout and ultimately cost his team the win. "I wish I would have scored," said Jones after the loss. "I'm pretty angry at myself for not putting it in the back of the net and giving our team a chance to win."

This is the first time these teams meet this season. Dallas took three of the four games last season.

Predictions: The Stars are surging and look unstoppable. They have not allowed more than two goals in their streak and have scored at least three or more. The Stars meanwhile are not getting goals from Jarome Iginla who only has one goal in 10 games. The Dallas Stars win 3-1.
