The 2013 Grammy Awards was filled with great performances and memorable moments, but pop singer Kelly Clarkson stole the night. Not only did she win a Grammy, deliver a strong performance and give a hilariously awkward and adorable acceptance speech, she also stole the show with an epic photobomb (via Mashable.com).
While talk show host Ellen DeGeneres was posing for a picture with her partner Portia de Rossi, the original American Idol charmed her way into the photo op with a wide grin.
The night was filled with more surprises and fun for the "Mr. Know It All" singer. She was shocked when she was awarded the Best Pop Vocal Album of the Year for her 2011 album "Stronger," the third Grammy she's received in her career.
During her acceptance speech, Clarkson spoke off-the-cuff about how her dress got stuck to Miranda Lambert's outfit when the two hugged as she approached the podium and how she was moved by RnB singer's Miguel's performance. "I got stuck on Miranda Lambert. There's a story and a song. For later, after alcohol," she joked nervously. "I'm just kidding, children. I get nervous speaking in front of people."
She continued, "Thank you all so much," she said, naming a list of people, "and my fiance, who is sexy tonight. I did not think I was going to win. Thank you!" Clarkson also gave a fellow artist the recognition he deserved for his show stopping mini-performance before her award was announced: "Miguel, I don't know who the hell you are," she said. "But we need to sing together."
Clarkson's flawless tribute to Lifetime Achievement Award winners Patty Page and Carole King was also just as notable.
