Kendall and Kylie Jenner hit the catwalk for a good cause at New York Fashion Week on Wednesday. The Jenner sisters, joined by their mom Kris, both wore dramatic red Badgley Mischka gowns for the Heart's Truth Red Dress Collection fashion show, which raises awareness for heart disease.
Kendall, 17, and Kylie, 15, have definitely grown up fast since the early days of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and they say they are ready to take on their own identities apart from the Kardashian name.
"We're full-throttle Jenners!" said Kylie in an interview in the March issue of Glamour. "We don't have any desire to be Kardashians." And Kylie added, "All that matters is that we're a family."
In their Glamour interview, the half-sisters of Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney said it hasn't always been easy growing up in such a famous family.
"We appreciated everything that we have, but we don't remember what it's like to be normal kids who aren't harassed by the paparazzi," said Kendall. "I hate that. We're underage girls. I don't want to be followed by random men I don't know. It can also be hard to deal with other kids who are jealous or mean. I can't post a picture on Instagram without being criticized."

Life in the spotlight can be tough, but Kylie says she is grateful that her family members always have her back. "Rob checks on me at least three times a day, and Lamar wants to meet any guy we're talking to," she revealed to Glamour. "Just yesterday Scott was going over the kind of guy I should date."
Kendall and Kylie's new clothing line with Pac Sun, a collection "inspired by the diversity, optimism and creativity of the Golden State," will hit stores nationwide on February 8.
