Monica and Chandler reunited at last. Courtney Cox and Matthew Perry will reunite on the small screen for the first time since starring together in the hit comedy series 'Friends.' The former onscreen couple will meet up on Perry's new NBC comedy, 'Go On,' reported the Hollywood Reporter exclusively.
Cox, who portrayed Monica Geller on 'Friends,' will join Perry for one episode scheduled to air in April. According to the Hollywood Reporter, she will play a character who meets Anne (Julie White), who then tries to her up with Ryan (Matthew Perry). The reunion will mark the first time the two will reunite since 'Friends' ended it's Emmy-winning run in 2004.
While the two haven't reunited in the past, they have worked with fellow 'Friends' alums on several onscreen projects. Cox recently guest starred on Lisa Kudrow's Showtime show 'Web Therapy.' Cox's onscreen big brother David Schwimmer also appeared on the show.
Meanwhile, Kudro and Jennifer Aniston have both appeared on Cox's shows 'Cougar Town' and 'Dirt.' Not to be left behind, Schwimmer directed two episodes of Matt LeBlanc's 'Friends' spinoff series 'Joey.'
Us Magazine reported that Cox recently opened up about her role as Monica Geller on 'Friends,' saying, "I catch reruns of 'Friends' and I don't even remember being there. I'm like, 'That is funny!'" The 48-year-old 'Cougar Town' actress added, "I'd love to see the rest of the cast."
Matthew Perry's 'Go On' airs on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.
