The Germans will look to reverse its poor record against the French when the two sides face off on Wednesday.
According to Goal.com, Germany has not defeated France in 26 years and France has won five of the last six matches between the squads. The battle will be an uphill climb for Joachim Löw and company as the Germans will be without Miroslav Klose, Marcel Schmelzer, Mario Gotze and Marco Reus in this match. The Germans have not looked great in their recent performances. The team drew 0-0 with the Netherlands in a friendly but blew a 4-0 lead against Sweden in the World Cup Qualifiers.
The French meanwhile will be without the services of Raphael Varane after his star performance in the Copa del Rey Clasico for Real Madrid. France recently defeated Italy 2-1 in a friendly and drew 1-1 with Spain in their last World Cup qualifying match.
France holds a strong record of 10 wins, five draws, and six losses in Friendlies against Germany. The teams met a year ago when France won 2-1 on the strength of goals from Olivier Giroud and Florent Malouda.
