The Nokia Lumia 920 is coming to the United Kingdom tomorrow, along with several other handsets to be introduced by Vodafone.
Vodafone is making several Windows Phone 8 handsets available tomorrow, including the Lumia 920, Lumia 820, and the 620 from the same Nokia series. Also soon to be available is the HTC Windows Phone 8S and 8X.
The Vodafone blog announced that all handsets will begin shipping on February 6, with the Lumia 920 initially coming in two colors options, black or yellow. No prices have yet been announced.
The flagship Lumia 920 comes with some high-end specs, including 4G capability and a 4.5-inch display. Protected by Gorilla Glass 2 by Corning, the display has a resolution of 1280x768 pixels, with a density of 332 pixels per inch. Inside, the 920 boasts 32GB of storage, though without any microSD support to expand that.
The premier handset runs on a 1.5GHz Krait dual-core processor, supported by a Adreno 255 GPU and 1GB RAM. It comes with a 8-megapixel PureView camera with Carl Zeiss optics, capable of making images with resolutions up to 3264x2448 pixels and 1080p video. Its front-facing camera is a 1.3-megapixel camera, capable of 720p video. It has a non-removable 2000mAh battery, which is rated for up to 10 hours of talk time on a 3G network connection, and up to 400 hours of standby.
On the low end, with the Nokia Lumia 620, you still get a 3.8-inch display with 480x800 pixels. It has 8GB storage, but a microSD card slot giving up to 64GB more. The phone runs on a 1GHz dual-core processor and features a 5-megapixel camera and a front-facer as well.
All of these phones will run Microsoft Windows Phone 8.
