Despite the International House of Pancakes' variety of delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner options, nothing tops a freshly made batch of their signature buttermilk pancakes. Well, maybe one thing can top that--a free stack of IHOP pancakes!
For one day only, IHOP will offer Americans across the nation a free serving of their famous flapjacks in honor of National Pancake Day on Tuesday, Feb. 5.
Each year, IHOP gives away a free short stack of flapjacks to customers in return for a donation to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals or other charities within local communities. This year, the breakfast chain is hoping that their renowned flapjacks will rake in $3 million in donations. Since beginning their partnership with the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, the pancake house chain has proudly raised $10 million, which goes towards helping children receive quality medical care.
Each customer will be entitled to only three fluffy pancakes, but that doesn't limit the amount of melted butter, warm syrup and delectable calories that you can add on to your stack. This is a one day offer, only, which begins at 7 a.m. and ends at 10 p.m.
Posted on their website, IHOP explained their commitment in giving back writing, "Since beginning its National Pancake Day celebration in 2006, IHOP has raised more than $10 million to support charities in the communities in which it operates. On February 5, 2013, guests from around the country will once again celebrate National Pancake Day at IHOP and enjoy a free short stack of Buttermilk pancakes. In return for the free pancakes, guests will be asked to consider leaving a donation for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals© or other designated local charities."
