Amanda Bynes is packing up to leave her New York apartment before her landlord kicks her out. According to TMZ, Bynes received an eviction notice earlier this month because she is "a building nuisance."
Her neighbors complained about marijuana smoke drifting from her apartment "morning, noon, and night," and she was sometimes seen smoking in the hallways, TMZ reported, citing unnamed sources from the building. Bynes has not revealed where she will go now that she has left her current apartment.
Bynes, 26, moved to New York permanently in September 2012 and she wants to pursue a career in fashion, she told People. "I am retired as an actor," she said. I am moving to New York to launch my career. I am going to do a fashion line."

The former Nickelodeon star has faced some legal troubles over the past year. Last April, she faced legal action after she allegedly committed two hit-and-runs in L.A., but her case entered into civil settlement and her criminal charges were dismissed, according to Gossip Cop. She is still facing a DUI case in L.A., as well as potential legal repercussions for driving with a suspended license, Gossip Cop reports.
Bynes denied she has a drinking problem in a September interview with People, saying, "I am not talking about being arrested for DUI because I don't drink, and I don't drink and drive. It is all false." People quoted an unnamed source who has spent time with Bynes as saying that "people around Amanda are really concerned about her. She tells people she doesn't party or drink. She doesn't realize she has a problem."
Last year, when Bynes was still living in L.A., her parents relocated from Texas to California in order to take care of her.
