The eighth-ranked Arizona Wildcats play the University of Washington tonight at 9 pm EST on ESPN's live stream.

Arizona is in second place in the Pac-12, behind #10 Oregon. The Wildcats have been ranked in the top ten every week since week three, reaching a high of third in week nine.

Both of the Wildcats' losses came in Pac-12 play (losing to UCLA 84-73 on January 24 and Oregon 70-66 on January 10). Both of those losses came in the last five games for Arizona.

The Wildcats pulled out a 74-50 win versus USC on Saturday and had their most high-profile win against #5 Florida (65-64) on December 15.

In the last game, Mark Lyons went 3-for-5 from three-point land. Nick Johnson registered a team-high 14 points, while Freshmen Brandon Ashley and Kaleb Tarczewski each recorded seven rebounds. The Wildcats held the Trojans to a 28.1 field goal percentage.

On the season, the senior Lyons had a 14.9 points per game average and a 3.1 assists per game mark. Senior Solomon Hill has the highest three-point percentage at .419. Ashley and Tarczewski are tied for the highest on the Wildcats at 5.8 boards per game.

The University of Washington is in fifth place in the Pac-12, having lost three games in a row. The last game was an 81-76 road defeat against Oregon on Saturday.Before the recent losing skid though, the team won four games in a row.

Washington is 0-2 versus ranked teams this season, losing to Oregon and Ohio State at home on November 18.

In the loss to the Ducks, Washington had five players with 13+ points. Abdul Gaddy added five assists and three steals. Scott Suggs was three-for-three from behind the three-point line, and the team shot 51.9 percent from the floor. It was a 66.7 percent mark in three-point shots, but the team made only 58.3 percent of its free throws.

Junior C.J. Wilcox leads all the team's scorers with 19 points per game, and also has the best three-point shooting percentage at .419.

Senior Aziz N'Diaye is tops in rebounds per game (9.2) and field goal percentage (.632).

The Tacoma native Gaddy records 3.5 assists per game.

Sophomore Shawn Kemp, Jr. is also on the team. Kemp is the son of former Seattle Super Sonics forward Shawn Kemp, Sr.

In the last match-up between these teams, Washington held on for a 69-67 victory on January 28, 2012. Arizona's Hill led all scorers by 11 with 28 points and had 11 rebounds. Jesse Perry led all players with 12 rebounds in the game. That was the second game in a row between the squads that ended with a blocked shot. THe teams face off next on February 20 in Arizona.
