Tom Brady may not be passing the pig skin at the 2013 Super Bowl, but at least he can watch the game on the couch inside his new $20 million mansion.
Oh, and the new home features a moat incase any intruders attempt to storm the castle.
The 22,00 square foot Los Angeles abode also has a huge children's play area and a resort-style pool, according to the Detroit Free Press who also discovered the moat in an overhead video of the lot.
No reason has been reported as to why the addition of a medieval security system was necessary for the star quarterback and his wife Gisele Bündchen.
But considering that the power couple racked in $76 million between May 2010 and May 2011 and is reported to be the world's highest-paid celebrity pair, according to a Huffington Post report, there is no doubt that they have deep enough pockets to afford the lavish amenity.
The mansion is reported to also include eight bedrooms, a six-car garage, a lagoon-shaped swimming pool with spa, an elevator, a nursery for their baby, a weight room and a wine cellar---according to the Huffington Post.
And to bring the massive home more down to Earth, Brady's supermodel wife reportedly equipped the house with eco-friendly appliances and materials, according to a press release.
Bündchen, who won the Best Green International Celebrity title, designed the home to create the smallest carbon footprint possible with solar panels, energy-saving lighting, energy-efficient appliances and sustainable building materials.
The mansion reportedly features waste reduction and recycling procedures and a rainwater recovery system as well.
