Call of Duty Black Ops 2 is celebrating the new Revolution DLC release by giving players Double XP and letting Peter Stormare take over your life. The weird and hilarious promotional video for Revolution DLC features (the weird and hilarious) Stormare, in full Coen Brothers-mode, as "The Replacer."

In anticipation of the new Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Revolution DLC becoming available for download next Tuesday, January 29th, Treyarch, maker of Black Ops 2, is rewarding players with Double XP for multiplayer the weekend before. Starting at 1pm EST on Friday, January 25th and going until 1 pm EST on Monday, January 28th, players will earn double the points towards upgrades on guns, perks, and other character accessories according to ControllerOnline.

As we've talked about before, the Revolution DLC for Black Ops 2 is more than just a map pack. To start, it will feature four new maps for regular multiplayer modes. "Grind" takes place in a California skate park, and features lots of curved walls and rounded edges, which force players out into open firefights. "Downhill" is the first snow map for Black Ops 2. It takes place in a ski resort in the French alps. "Mirage" is a desert map with massive sand dunes surrounding a Chinese villa. Finally, "Hydro" is a map based in a hydroelectric dam, and the map will occasionally flood parts of the dam, making certain areas random hazards.

The Revolution DLC also includes a new zombie mode called "Turned" where everyone but one gets to be a zombie, while the odd person out must try to survive. There's also a zombie-mode map called "Die Rise" which introduces an aspect of verticality to gameplay in the form of derelict skyscrapers. Finally, there's a whole new gun called the "Peacekeeper," which is a mix between an SMG and an Assault Rifle. It's the first DLC weapon to ever be offered in the Call of Duty franchise.

Watch the video below. In it, Peter Stormare, "The Replacer," promises to relieve gamers of their responsibilities so they can play more Call of Duty Black Ops 2. He does this by attending child-births, visiting Nana, frustrated-ly assembling furniture, and threatening primates (just watch). Keep your eyes peeled for some wood-chipper action.
