Beyoncé will take center-stage at the Super Bowl 2013 halftime show, featuring a reunion with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams from her former group Destiny's child.
All three members of Destiny's Child have not performed together since their breakup in 2005.
The main focus of the game may be on the field as the Baltimore Ravens play for the championship against the San Francisco 49ers, but there is certainly a lot of attention being paid to the halftime show.
BET is reporting that Beyoncé will start off the concert as a solo act before Rowland and Williams come on stage to perform a "best of" set of Destiny's Child hits. There are also reports that the once popular girl band will perform their new single "Nuclear" before Beyoncé take the stage once again to perform a single from her upcoming solo album.
But aside from the Destiny's Child reunion, Pepsi will play a part in halftime festivities as well.
The big-time soda manufacturer and sponsor of the NFL halftime show started a contest where fans can submit photographs of themselves in different poses. A hundred fans will be chosen to be in a commercial that introduces Beyoncé before she waltzes on stage.
And there are also some rumors circulating that Jay Z, Beyoncé's hubby, could wander on as a guest performer.
The past few halftime performances, namely from Madonna and the Black Eyed Peas, received mixed reviews from the public. But either way, there are certainly going to be a great deal of viewers tuned in to see the Grammy-winning vocalist perform and who was most recently in the news for allegedly lip-syncing the "Star-Spangled Banner" at the Presidential Inauguration ceremony on Monday.
