There's another leak about the HTC M7 ahead of its release date, and this time it's a real photo.

Last week, we showed you a computer generated image, leaked on Twitter, which showed that the M7 looked a lot like an iPhone, but with more of a speaker and mic grill on the top and bottom. Now we have the first real photographs of a prototype M7, courtesy of HTCSource, to entertain us as we eagerly await the unveiling and release of the next HTC Android flagship smartphone.

These actual photos look very little like the image that leaked last week, and reveals the new HTC phone to have a similar look to many of HTC's previous products. On the display of the smartphone in the photo is what appears to be the rumored new version of HTC Sense, Sense 5.

As we previously reported, the rumored specs have this screen at 4.7 inches, with 1080p high definition output. Other rumored specs have the back-facing camera, seen on the right, being 13 megapixels, with a front-facing camera sporting 2 megapixels as well. The handset should be running on a 1.7GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM, and 32GB storage capacity. It is rumored to be running the latest version of Android Jelly Bean, version 4.2.

The HTC M7 is expected to be unveiled next month in Barcelona, Spain, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC). The half-week event begins on February 25th, so check back with us for more HTC news. Of course, there may be more leaks ahead of the event, including a possible release date, which may be sometime in May, according to rumors on GottaBeMobile, so be sure to keep checking in with us as we get closer to the MWC.
