Univisión network revealed the list of nominees for the 2014 Juventud Awards, and bachata is leading the list with Romeo Santos and Prince Royce are the artists which aspire to the most awards in the most categories.
For this year, Santos has been nominated in 12 categories, including "Your favorite CD" with his album "Lo toco todo", among others such as "Voice of the moment, "My tropical artist" and "My favorite video".
Among the nominated artists in music are Enrique Iglesias, Chiquis Rivera, Shakira, Drake, Gerardo Ortiz and Katy Perry. Enrique Iglesias joins the 2014 Juventud Awards with six nominations, with great chances of wining the award for "Best telenovela song" for his duet with Marco Antonio Solis titled "El perdedor", besides being nominate for "My favorite lyrics", for the song "Bailando".
With three nominations is Chiquis Rivera, the oldest daughter of the late singer Jenni Rivera. Following in the steps of her mother, who conquered the Latino market in the United States being a multiple winner in previous years.
Other singers with three nominations are J Balvin, Katy Perry, Marc Anthony, Marco Antonio Solis and Pitbull. While artists with two nominations are Alejandra Guzmán, Alejandro Fernández, Shakira, Kesha, Beyoncé, Gloria Trevi, Farruko, Jaime Camil, Jesse y Joy, Wisin.
With a single nomination are Ana Brenda Contreras, Amos Morales, Angelique Boyer, Austin Mahone, Jennifer López, Eugenio Derbez, Christina Aguilar and many others.
Angelique Boyer, star of "Lo que la vida me robó" is nominated to "Girl who takes away my sleep", with lot's of chances to win, despite being nominated along with Maite Perroni, star of "La Gata" and Ximena Navarrete, former Miss Universe who starred in "La Tempestad" along with William levy. Jaime Camil (Que Pobres tan Ricos), Sebastián Rulli (Lo que la vida me robó) and Daniel Arenas (Corazón indomable); are some of the nominees to "Most handsome Hispanic telenovela actor", a harsh competition that without a doubt will be enjoyed by all.
Among athletes nominated are Javier "Chicharito" Hernández and Lionel Messi, for "Your favorite Hispanic athlete", award that could also be given to Saúl "Canelo" Álvarez for his popularity among the Hispanic community in the United States.
The Juventud Awards will take place on June 1 at 11:59 p.m. EST, and the winners will be chosen by a public vote on Univisión.com.
