President Barack Obama will discuss moments from his State of the Union address and answer questions on Google+ at 4:50 p.m. EST.

President Obama will participate in the "President Obama's Hangout," where he'll talk to Americans from across the nation on the Google social media site. Americans, as of this morning, were able to send the president questions and the commander-in-chief will sit and answer a few of them.

The "Hangout" comes less than 24 hours after President Obama delivered the State of the Union address, where he outlined several new positions and guidelines he wants accomplished, either through Congress or by executive orders.

During the State of the Union address, President Obama discussed raising the minimum wage to $9.00 nationwide, the return of over 30,000 troops from Afghanistan, restructuring how people vote, bringing jobs back to the U.S., immigration, and gun control measures.

This is not the first Hangout by a member of the White House as Vice President Joe Biden participated in the "Fireside Hangout" in a discussion about gun control late last month.
